Florence Knoll Bassett, Walmart’s MoDRN, and a Foster’s Overhaul

Architectural Record called Florence Knoll Basset the “single most powerful figure in modern design,” and she died at 101 on Jan. 25. If you kno ‘knolling’ but don’t know Florence, get an introduction over at The Conversation

Would you fill your home with Walmart’s mid-century furniture? Probably not if you curate your home, like a mini museum. The furniture looks decent in the pictures but if you can afford these gorgeous homes chances, are you’re going somewhere else. That said you can maybe sneak in piece. We promise we won’t say anything.
